Happy National Wear Your Lilly Day!

Whip out your pink and green and celebrate! In honor of this day I thought I would share some of the prime times in my life where Lilly was right there besides me.

7th grade graduation dance. This picture captures everyone in their prime awkwardness and I love it.

This dress was the dress that made my totally fall in love with Lilly. I remember buying it with my mom and grandma. I wore it to my 8th grade graduation.

Lilly came to junior Snowball with me, what a night that was.

And she was there to celebrate my high school graduation party.

I know Lilly will be around for many more fun and exciting times in my life. Fraternity formals, weddings,
vacations and who knows what else!

There's A First Time for Everything

While I am home and bored this summer, all of my beautiful friends are traveling the world and blogging about all of their wild nights and sights they've seen. I have to say that I feel a little bit left out. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own blog.

First things first- my blog title. Now I thought long and hard about this, bouncing different options off of all of my friends and this is what I have decided upon: "A Preppy Diagnosis." Now if you know me, the preppy part is to obviously represent my classic style and wardrobe of Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, etc. The diagnosis part is meant to reflect my future profession as a nurse.

What am I blogging about? I guess we'll find out. I have set out with the idea of talking about my great preppy finds and fun things of that nature, but I also plan on sharing some funny stories from my babysitting and nursing experiences of this summer. Thanks for reading!
